Amrita Arora-Ladak on her workout routine, eating habits and spiritual quotient…
Workout Routine
I try and get in a bit of yoga, lots of cardio and training with my trainer every now and then, but mostly I do cardio and a bit of weights. So basically it’s called a circuit routine: bit of everything. You have to be lucky and blessed with a good gene pool.
Eating Habits
The key is to have a balanced diet. Crash diets are short-lived. Eat everything moderately and go to the gym, or for a walk. Do not lead a sedentary life. Between meals, sip on green tea or warm water. Keep dinner lighter than the rest of the meals.
Spiritual Quotient
There are different ways to de-stress. For me personally, my gym time is a stress-buster, my family is my stress-buster, doing things together is my spiritual mantra. Going on date nights with my husband is also a stress-buster. My time out with my girlfriends is a major stress-buster. Reading to my kids and entering their world works wonders as well. To each his own, is the key is to be happy! Nothing like being happy and making people happy as well!
