We are blessed with a great culture which our parents have passed on to us. Our traditional foods are very balanced. I strongly believe that weight loss is the result of 80 per cent of what you put in your stomach and 20 per cent of the physical activities you engage in or the workout you do.
I am not a very big fan of the gym. It has a negative impact on my joints. However, I love swimming and dancing, and love the cardio it provides.
It’s very important to have a positive approach towards life because there can be a million things you can pin-point which are not going right in your life but there are also a million things you should be grateful for.
I believe in a healthy body resides a healthy mind. Since I am now a qualified psychologist, wellness expert and a counsellor, I look after my body. I am mindful of my flexibility, strength and stamina and see to it that I take care of these three components.
