Of late, Raima Sen has been uploading ‘Sen’sational photographs on social media; images that are simple, yet alluring.

For a person who was shy (read lazy) where her PR was concerned, this comes as a surprise considering one has to spend a lot of time uploading the right stuff. Raima has made that time to invest in her career and it is reaping rich dividends. Her fans are getting to see the best of her and her work, though not necessarily because her social media presence (as she says) has increased.

“This is true for everybody,” she asserts. Every actor is on Social Media and as far as work is concerned (with web series), there is work for everyone. A decade ago, Raima was of the opinion that her work would do the talking. But that was not the case. She soon realised that related activities were also important. “I thought getting noticed in films was good enough. I later learnt that in Bollywood, there are camps, one has to do robust PR and also have the patience… everything counts. I never had to struggle, maybe that was one of the reason I never tried hard enough.”

Things have changed now, so has the media. Like most Bollywood stars, Raima too has channelized her energies of getting her PR through social media. “I can now handle my own PR through social media and not necessarily depend on journos,” she says as her fiery photos gets Insta noticed on FB and Twitter.

As for her photographs, she says people have been generous saying that I am transforming and look better now. Photographs too are keeping her busy with requests which has her shooting every week.
