The Aussie Batsmanship
Australian batsmen played their cricket today with skill, displaying their basic batting technique and desire to stay at the treacherous wicket which is turning and keeping a low bounce. On a dry, slow turner, the Aussies battled the pitch and Indian bowlers taking a lead of 48 runs with four wickets in hand.

The Turn and Low Bounce
This Bengaluru pitch has completely changed for the fast bowler. The ball is keeping low. Captain Steve Smith was surprised in one over where five balls from pacer Umesh Yadav kept very low.

The Mother-in-law quote
England all-rounder Ian Botham once said: “Pakistan is the sort of country to send your mother in-law to.” Beefy’s comments followed England’s 1-0 defeat in the three-Test series in Pakistan in 1984.

Indian ‘Pitch Doctors’
Wickets in India are all good but the ‘Pitch Doctors’ from the BCCI are old and it is time for them to retire. Their constant ‘teaching’ local curators on how to re-do a pitch already laid out for an international match is doing a lot of harm harm. It won’t be long before one of the Australians re-package Ian Botham’s famous quote with India in it!
