Last week, Swiss watchmaker Hublot celebrated its new partnership with Aspen Snowmass, one of the most prestigious ski destinations in North America, as the Official Timekeeper and resort partner alongside friend of the brand, Olympic Gold Medalist and world champion, Bode Miller.

Hublot’s 360°partnership—a first for the watchmaker with a US resort–includes clocks present at prominent locations in the Aspen Snowmass including the Sundeck, Elk Camp, Chair Nine in The Little Nell, and the Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro mountain restaurant. The breathtaking Aspen landscape served as the backdrop for the day of activities, which included private ski lessons, a trip on the Silver Queen Gondola, light refreshments at the Buckhorn Cabin, and lunch at The Aspen Mountain Club whilst passing by Hublot clocks en route.

To cap the day of celebrations, CEO Ricardo Guadalupe hosted a ‘Switzerland Meets Aspen’ traditional dinner with Bode Miller at Casa Tua, where guests toasted to a successful day on the slopes over fondue and raclette. Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot shared: “Aspen Snowmass joins Hublot’s prestigious portfolio of top ski destinations around the world, reinforcing the brand’s relationship with mountain culture that ties closely to the brand’s Swiss heritage. We are proud to be here with our long time friend of the brand and skiing legend Bode Miller to help bring this partnership to life!”

Bode Miller, Friend of Hublot commented: “I am excited to be here in Aspen with Hublot, a brand I’ve called family since 2010, as they deepen their relationship with the world of skiing here in the US!”

Bode wore the brand’s Big Bang Unico White Ceramic 45mm timepiece on the slopes, featuring the brand’s HUB1242UNICO in-house fly back chronograph movement with patented quick-release strap system. Originally introduced in a 45mm style, Hublot recently presented the 42mm version in Geneva this January. In addition to this partnership, Hublot has developed strong relationships with leading luxury ski resorts around the world including Courchevel 1850 in the French Alps and Zermatt, where Hublot opened a chalet-styled boutique in both villages, released dedicated limited editions, and signed partnerships with iconic actors and venues affiliated with both resorts.

Aspen Snowmass now joins the Hublot portfolio sharing the same ambition of being ‘first, unique and different’ and celebrating ski culture.
