Cherry Mardia on her workout routine, eating habits and spiritual quotient…

Workout Routine

Honestly, I’m a bad role model for anyone trying to get into fitness. I’m lazy as a bag! Although I can’t do without exercise for too long, I start feeling stuck and stagnant, even when I do!. I go to the gym four times a week. I’m a big fan of boot camp and callisthenics, which is working out using your own body weight over the traditional gym machines. Sport is another form of activity that I’m aspiring to fit into my regime.

Eating Habits

I wake up thinking of food and go to bed thinking of food. I keep hunting for new restaurants and cafes for awesome new flavours. I’m a vegetarian and I’m super picky about what I eat. I hate oily stuff. But then again, I’m weak about goat cheese, ice-creams, dark chocolate, crème brûlée, paneer and falooda! Clearly, I’m still struggling to get my diet on track.

Spiritual Quotient

Singing Indian classical has been therapeutic of late for me. Even an insightful movie or a book helps me introspect, reflect and readjust the bits of beliefs I hold on to so dearly. I do get stressed easily. I think it’s in my genes. My mom and I both want things to be done fast and right away. Any slack gets me hyper!
