Tanushree Dutta on her workout routine, eating habits and spiritual quotient…
Workout Routine
I go for walks regularly as the neighbourhood I live in is a waterfront community: there is a riverfront board walk overlooking the Hudson River with a view of Manhattan. I enjoy walking here. I also make it a point to swim three times a week. I’m not so much of a gym person.
Eating Habits
I eat a balanced diet that includes greens, meat and carbs like rice or potatoes. I keep the portion sizes small and keep myself hydrated with water and juices all through the day.
Spiritual Quotient
I normally start and end my day with a simple prayer. I’m currently studying the Christian Bible so I spend a lot of my free time reading/listening/meditating on materials by world famous pastors of the faith. Sometimes, when prompted by the Holy Spirit, I also practice yoga. I have no life mantra as such, apart from walking on a day-to-day or moment-to-moment basis with my spiritual guide/guru/Saviour Jesus Christ. This keeps me open to divine guidance and direction. By obedience and surrender I often find myself in a good place in life. Challenges are many but I usually ride over them with my faith and fellowship with Christ. I always know that no matter what happens, with Him by my side I will come out just fine. So with that blessed hope I face each day.
