Madhussneha on her workout routine, eating habits and spiritual quotient…
Workout Routine
I love to work out! Other than fitness, it reminds me of my life goals and keeps me focused. So I do weight training once or twice a week but I have a circuit combining a little ashtang yoga and contemporary free hand exercises (like push-ups, planks etc). I prefer this because I believe a woman’s body loses its beauty with just weight training, so yoga serves it well. Also my cardio is running up and down my six-storeyed building followed with skipping which I highly recommend to everyone.
Eating Habits
Water is the key to feeling great as 70 per cent of your body is water so I drink lots of it. It is the first and the last thing in a day I consume. Food wise I believe diet has to be a good mix of everything. So roti, chawal and sweet potatoes are my favourite carbs and all kinds of green vegetables are my source of fibre. Other than that, fish is the best protein to have and it’s light also. So I highly recommend Indian ghar ka khana but made with less spices and not over cooked. Oh yes, for snacking carry fruits and nuts. Best!
Spiritual Quotient
Laughing a lot is one of the things I do to stay happy and feel pretty. Meditation, on the other hand, is like bathing for me! It is extremely important for me to keep myself centered to be able to work in the technology driven fast world. I practice Transcendental meditation and do yoga and pranayama, every day. I believe it works a part of your brain that takes charge in moments of stress. But any form of meditation to make the inside strong is required to deal with the fast working outside world. Nowadays there are apps too! Everyone should do it; they will find themselves happier and calmer. I guarantee!
