The essence: As you go through the pain of watching SRK and Anushka suffer through their scenes, you wonder what happened to the magic of Imtiaz Ali. You long for that spark of Jab We Met, or the soul of Rockstar to emerge. You also long for a glimpse of Meera from NH10!

Prologue
Imtiazzzzz, tula Shahrukhvar bharavsa nahi kay? nahi kay?
Imtiaz your movie is gol gol
Shahrukh has absolutely no role role
Throughout the movie my head goes tring tring
Anushkha keeps crying, ring ring!

The story begins…

After a long tour, Harinder Singh Nehra is looking forward to some quite time, when into his open-top car jumps Sejal, a rich gujju behen. She gets off from her flight from Amsterdam to Mumbai after a fight with her boyfriend. She has lost her diamond ring while on tour and insists, Harinder aka Harry, take her around to the spots they frequented. She’s sure she will find the ring!

Harry (Shah Rukh Khan) has no choice but to take the noisy and annoying Sejal (Anushka Sharma) around the various places he took them… restaurants, art galleries, open spaces… where she looks for her lost ring under park benches, and restaurants.

Imtiaz, surely has lost his zing!

So here we go with them on a tour to Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Portugal, Frankfurt and finally Mumbai!

Imtiaz goes on and on with this ring bit and soon realizes that he has to infuse some romance between the two. By that time 60 painful minutes have elapsed! There is now some dishoom dishoom introduced in a pub in Amsterdam, where Harry manages to escape from the goons with Sejal. They fall asleep on the cold floor and the next morning break out into a song.

Before breaking into a song, Harry cries, then explains why Punjabis sing loudly and Sejal in turn tells him that she is the singer at all their family functions. So here they are, without brushing their teeth, singing full throttle into each other’s face!

After the song, Sejal realizes that Harry is lonely and she offers to be his girlfriend till her ring is found.

After a few mores scenes… I N T E R V A L.

After the break, they break into another song. After the song, after the interval, there is a top angle shot of them in bed in satin sheets!

So the sequence is somewhat like this: A treasure hunt, a song… back to treasure hunt, once again another song. Whilst trying to get close to Sejal, Harry plays nosey nosey before landing a full kiss on her lips in the end.

Epilogue
As you go through the pain of watching SRK and Anushka suffer through their scenes, you wonder what happened to the magic of Imtiaz Ali. You long for that spark of Jab We Met, or the soul of Rockstar to emerge. You also long for a glimpse of Meera from NH10!

Also, there is no chemistry between the lead pair of the magnitude of Tamasha (Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika) or even Rab Ne Bana De Jodi (SRK and Anushka)!
