Fit as a fiddle, super confident and wearing her scars to reveal the beauty within. Opening Doorz on International Women’s Day to Mitali Sonawane, the girl who was declared dead at age six, who is now focussed on storming the beauty scene.
Tannishtha Chatterjee, who played the life Dr. Rakhmabai, and who was also present at the screening said: “I think there is no better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than to have a screening of a film like this. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to have actually lived her life.”
Dr. Ruby Dhalla, who is from the ruling Liberal Party in Canada, has not changed since the time I first met her in 2005, as a first-time Member of Parliament in the Canadian Government. Her zest to make a change is intact, ditto her energy levels.
