On Mother’s Day, openingdoorz celebrates Mother Earth…

Give us the wisdom to know that God created you before he created us…

Give us the wisdom to treat you with care, so that you nurture us with pure oxygen and also continue to nurture those who will come after us…

Give us the wisdom to know that if you are not cared for, we are in grave danger of losing the quality of life we are meant to live…

Give us the wisdom to know that making way through thick green cover is not only going to flood our homes, but also keep the sweat trickling on our brow…

Give us the wisdom to know that dumping garbage and flooding you with plastic is going to choke us (it’s already beginning) although as a mother you will not want it to be that way…

Give us the wisdom to know that hills and mountains are meant to be, not chopped away for sand or a housing complex…

Give is the wisdom to know that your waters should not be treated as a dumping ground…

Give us the wisdom to know that Aarey is not only for our milk supply but is essentially our green lung…

Give us the wisdom to stop polluting and littering….

Give us the wisdom to reuse, recycle, reduce…

Give us the wisdom to conserve, not destroy, to plant more trees, not uproot them…

Give us the wisdom to know that being in tune with nature, and one with nature is what gives us a healthy life…

Finally, give us the wisdom to understand what God told us after He created us and blessed us (Genesis 1: 28-31)

And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth…

And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.  And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food…

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day…

Give us the wisdom to know that God made everything “very good.” Help us to understand that we cannot better God’s creation or alter His plan…

Give us the wisdom to know that you love, you care, you nurture, you heal…

Heal us Mother Earth and teach us to live in the presence of your bliss!
